Introducing R’ Orlofsky’s Daily Daf
Join Rabbi Orlofsky on live video call every day for a journey through the brand new Daf Yomi cycle!
How it Works
The Daily Daf is a daily group video call with Rabbi Orlofsky.
The shiur is at 8:00 AM EST (3:00 PM in Israel) for about an hour.
How to Connect
The Daily Daf is a group video call on the ZOOM platform.
You can participate on your computer, smart devices, or by dialing in by phone.
You will be asked to turn on your camera so R’ Orlofsky can see you face to face.
All sessions are recorded so you can review later or catch up on a day you missed.
These recordings will not be available to the public.
The Daily Daf is exclusive to paid subscribers.
Registration is open to men only.
The Daily Daf runs every day, Sunday-Friday.
We will stay in sync with the Daf Yomi cycle.
Every shiur is recorded. If you miss a session, you can always catch up on your own time.
Due to time-zone differences, there will be no shiur for Shabbos. If there is sufficient interest, we may pre-record one for release on Motzei Shabbos.
Daily Daf FAQ
What time is the shiur?
8 AM EST (3 PM in Israel)
Is there a free version?
No. Due to the amount of time this project will consume, The Daily Daf is only available to paying subscribers and is not public.
Can I try it out without committing?
Yes. The first week is a free trial, so you can see if the Daily Daf is for you.
If you cancel before the end of the week, you will not be charged.
Can I share my subscription with others?
As a subscriber, you can watch the shiur on one device at a time.
If several people all want to crowd around a single device during the shiur, that's OK.
If the others would like to participate via their own individual devices, they should sign up separately.
Please do not share your access to the archive of recording with anyone else.
How much does it cost?
See the registration page (click “Sign Up“)
What about Fridays?
The shiur will occur on Fridays.
What about Shabbos & Yom Tov?
No shiur will occur. If there is sufficient interest, recordings may be made available in advance.
What about R’ Orlofsky’s trips?
R’ Orlofsky will be able to livestream when on the go, so the shiur will be minimally impacted.
Do I need to turn on my camera?
It’s strongly advised. For teaching efficacy, R’ Orlofsky would like to see the participants throughout the shiur.
Will others in the shiur be able to see me?
Yes. This is a limitation of our hosting provider.
Is the shiur recorded?
All shiurim will be recorded. The recording will be only be available to members of the Daily Daf.
